What a salary certificate is
A salary certificate is a short letter from your employer confirming that you work there, your job title, your joining date and your salary. UAE banks ask for one to open an account or approve a loan or credit card, and it's often needed for visa, tenancy and school applications.
Who issues it — and why this is a draft
A salary certificate is always issued by the employer, on company letterhead, signed and stamped by an authorised signatory — that is what makes a bank or an authority accept it. This tool gives you the correct, professionally worded draft to hand to your HR department, so they can produce it quickly. It is not, and does not pretend to be, the official issued document.
What it should contain
- The employee's full name and (often) nationality.
- Job title and date of joining.
- Current salary — usually the total, sometimes broken into basic and allowances.
- The purpose it's issued for, and a standard no-liability line.
- An authorised signature and the company stamp.
Need documents prepared, translated or attested for a bank, a visa or a government authority? Our PRO team handles employment and HR paperwork end to end — and if you're opening a business bank account, we know exactly what each bank asks for.
This is a draft template, not an official document. It must be issued by your employer on company letterhead, signed and stamped, to be accepted by a bank or authority.
