How to request deletion
Email us and we will action it. There is no form to fill in and no account you must create first.
- Email privacy@omcuae.com from the address you gave us, with the subject “Data deletion request”.
- Tell us the name, email address and phone number you used, so we can find everything that belongs to you.
- If you registered a company through us, name it — some of your data sits on the company's file rather than yours.
We will confirm within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you which item, and why.
If you contacted us through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp
When you message our Facebook Page, our Instagram account, or our WhatsApp number, we store the conversation and the profile name Meta gives us so a consultant can reply to you and see what was already said.
To have that removed, email privacy@omcuae.com as above and say which channel you used. You can also remove our app's access to your account at any time in Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, though note that this stops future data reaching us — it does not delete the messages we already hold. Only a deletion request does that.
What we delete
- Your contact details, enquiry and any notes a consultant made.
- Your position in our sales pipeline, and any lead scoring attached to it.
- Your WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram conversations with us, including attachments and voice notes.
- Your client portal account and password.
- Identity documents you uploaded — passports, Emirates IDs, photographs — unless a rule below requires us to keep them.
- Your marketing consent record, and you will receive nothing from us again.
What we cannot delete, and why
We would rather tell you this plainly now than surprise you after you have asked. If we have actually done work for you, the law does not let us erase everything.
- Anti–money-laundering records. UAE law requires a licensed corporate services provider to keep client due-diligence records — including identity documents — for five years after the business relationship ends. We are not permitted to delete these on request, and no company that tells you otherwise is telling you the truth.
- Financial records. Invoices and payment records must be kept for tax and audit purposes, generally for five years.
- Corporate filings. Anything already submitted to a freezone authority, a bank, or a government department is held by them, under their rules. We cannot reach into their records, and neither can anyone else.
Where we must keep something, we keep only that, we stop using it for anything else, and we delete it as soon as the retention period ends. If you never became a client — you only enquired — none of the above applies, and we delete everything.
Your other rights
Deletion is not always what you want. You can also ask us to send you a copy of everything we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, or stop using your data for marketing while keeping your file open. Email privacy@omcuae.com for any of these.
